What to do ( if anything ) when the factory IMEI is invalid

I used an ‘IMEI analyzer’ because a 'how to"  for the mediatek flash tool cautioned me to fetch my IMEI number and write it down in case of troubles.    Being a boy scout, it sounded like good advice to be prepared.    I ran the tool and it told me the number was “123456789012345” . . .     Hmm…    That number does not validate and is bogus.    Should I be worried ?
