KW98 unable to install Google play. I'm pulling my hair out.

Ok so long story short I obtained a KW98 from a vendor on Amazon. When I received the watch it had chinese apps only.

So I rooted it and tried literally everything to get google play.

Is there a separate firmware I can use instead of the stock one to open the phone up per se?

If this is already on the board I apologize. I searched but was unable to find anything because most people get theirs with a smorgasbord of apps whereas I don’t even have a English browser.

Ty bro but I actually got lucky. I found out Kingwear’s website had firmware available so I just flashed with their newest version and wallah, it had google play in the package. 

So for anyone who needs the newest version, they have it readily available for download. I utilized the methods I learned from this wonderful forum and within 10 minutes I had a beautiful new watch!

Feel free to delete the post if there is already a guide up.

Are you sure it is only 4gb storage? This is very strange indeed because the KW98 came with 8gb storage and the firmware is here on the forum.

If it truly is 4gb storage you should be able to use the KW88 BT calling firmware which is also available here in the KingWear firmware section.

KW88 and KW98 use the same main board

Sorry i miss that info because in the website where i order this it says 4GB but in my watch its 8GB :joy::sweat_smile:
