KW68 and AllCall W2 Discussion

They took the advice - like the H2 - to use a bezel overlap and the screen looks good.

I am waiting for the KW68. It’s on the 6580 chipset and has A7, 1gb ram and 16gb storage. Nice design and bigger battery than the older KW series watches…And it is 3G… Perfect

Should be end of the month or early next month. Should be a reasonable price as well. tr.gearbest.com/smart-watch-phone/pp_1838232.html

What would be the specs like?

Same as of Allcall W2? Or different?

3G is ok. 4G not necessary, but battery value is very , very important. Hoping to come through a whole day with one battery load, better two days. Looking forward to this smartwatch.

  2. IP68

this two are the most important to me:) good to know.

Just noticed that the dial posted by pablo11 states June 20.

Is there a clue in this? Lol.

that is a good question for pablo11

i hope not…

Release dates for both models are not yet confirmed - or I would have told you

Please remember that we are official partners with KingWear so hassling them will get you no more info than you find here

I have removed the seperate discussion thread for the AllCall W2 because they are exactly the same watch except for one detail: W2 has 2gb ram and the KW68 has 1gb ram.

Apart from that they are the same. KingWear provide the custom model for AllCall to put their brand on - just like the AllCall W1

I have updated the first post with the specs from KW68 so you now know the watch capabilities.

No 4G - thank God. 4G ONLY work for data NOT CALLS. So unless you plan on using Netflix or similar to stream movies to you 40mm screen - it is a gimmick that eats battery.

Anyway - apart from all that - here is a chance to win a KW68 watch as soon as it is released!!!

So correct me if I’m wrong, this one is an evolution of KW99 with 512 MB more RAM, 60 mAh more capacity and IP68 protection. Am I missing something?

no, it is’nt the kw99 upgrade this one is more sport model with 1gb ram and 16gb storage, ip68 and for now we do’nt have much info of the battery BUT you need to understand that the capacity of the battery is’nt the issue (that much) but the efficiency of the OS system and A7 is way way better than the A5 in this matter. i can’t wait till it be out but i’m also curious about what Microwear plans for A7 if there is any.

I think I’ve read a previous message of yours explaining that Kingwear and Microwear are real smartwatch manufacturers (not resellers). Is that so? Are there more chinese smartwatch manufacturers worth mention?

Just to clarify the W2 has the same processor as the W1 ?  MTK6580.  The MTK6580 is A7.

With a 460mA battery compared to 400mA we would expect around 15% extra battery life.

I use my W1 as a Wifi hotspot for my laptop and tablet.  This is where 4G can be of benefit.

I would be curious as to what 4G would do to battery drain.

Maybe it would be good to have 4G but turn it off on the network settings and use only 3G unless 4G is required.

kyone

true, if using 4g it is better only when needed that thing is a battery killer.

If I’m not mistaken Finow and IQI are also manufacture.

A7 has better battery performance than A5

Everything looks nice except 1 thing i guess. There is no mention about the bluetooth calling feature which works without a SIM in the watch (btw W1 had it!)

Any confirmations?
