I want to use the watch to track my son. I use Google Maps location. As long as the watch is on the charger it seems to work fine most times. Of the charger the watch doesn’t update the location. What do I have to do? Is there a battery saver function that can be turned off?

In the settings there is a Power Savings menu with “standby intelligent power” something or another.
also if you scroll down in the settings to More, there’s the Background Cleaner.
But keep in mind. when you turn these off. You may have some pretty demanding apps running in the background which may drain your battery pretty quickly, or worse, make your watch get hot.
Which is something that once in a while happens to me. an app doesn’t close and sticks around in the background and the watch gets stupid hot.
