Factory Reset / Unroot a X5+

Hi,

I have a X5+ with 170111 and TWRP 3.0.2. rooted. Now I want to sell it and want to wipe it. Because the new customer will probably tap the “update” button in the OTA screen and probably (?) brick the device, I need to unroot it.

Will a update the normal way brick it?
For the unroot I need the original boot.img file?
Or can I download the latest Firmware and use the file from there?

What is the best way to do…will a update increase something?

(I also thought about to sell it with root and Xposed Edge etc, it´s very handy, but not everybody understand that update is no more)

That will not help me when there is no update function anymore. Default russian language will also raise questions :smile:
